On December 10, 2020 (Thu), a Regional Consultation Event will be held in Nankoku City. At the consultation event, the Chief Examiner of the Takamatsu Regional Immigration Bureau will be available for \u201cStatus of Residence Consultations\u201d (pertaining to immigration, residency procedures, specified skilled worker visa, etc) while Counseling Staff of the Kochi Consultation Center for Foreign Residents will conduct \u201cGeneral Consultations\u201d (pertaining to work, medical care, education, troubles, etc). Both consultations are available not only to foreigners, but also to people who interact with foreigners frequently, local enterprises, local government employees, etc. Consultations are free.<\/p>\n

Reservations are required for \u201cStatus of Residence Consultation\u201d, and each group is limited to 40 minutes of consultation time. Reservations are not required for \u201cGeneral Consultation,\u201d but in the case of a large number of consulters, those with reservations will receive priority over those who did not reserve. To reserve, fill in the \u201cApplication Form\u201d below and send it in to our center by email, fax, or post, by 8th December (Tuesday)<\/u>.<\/p>\n

Consultations in Japanese and English will be done directly with the advisor. For other languages, there will be an interpreter who will conduct consecutive interpreting either in person or via the phone.
