From Monday 28 February to Saturday 5 March 2022, we will be holding a \u201cLegal Consultation Week for Foreign Residents\u201d event at Kochi Consultation Center for Foreign Residents (Kocoforre).<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Foreign residents will be able to ask experienced lawyers any questions or concerns they have regarding Japanese law for free.<\/strong> Japanese citizens will also be able to ask if they have any legal questions regarding foreigners (e.g. a member of their family or friend\/acquaintance is a foreigner etc.). Corporate persons are not eligible to consult at this event. Consultations, limited to only one time per party, require a booking and last 50 minutes.<\/strong> Interpreters for English, Chinese and Vietnamese are available for consultations other than Japanese. For other languages, a free telephone interpreting service will be used for the consultation. If you require interpreting services, please request this when making a booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
