On February 18th, 2024 (Sunday), Consultation Event for Foreign Residents and Short Seminar will be held in Tosa-City.
Consultation Event for Foreign Residents
At the consultation event, officers of the Takamatsu Regional Immigration Bureau will be available for “Status of Residence Consultations” (pertaining to immigration, residency procedures, specified skilled worker visa, etc) while Counseling Staff of the Kochi Consultation Center for Foreign Residents will conduct “General Consultations” (pertaining to work, medical care, education, troubles, etc). Both consultations are available not only to foreigners, but also to people who interact with foreigners frequently, local enterprises, local government employees, etc. Consultations are free.
Reservations are required for “Status of Residence Consultation”, and each group is limited to 40 minutes of consultation time. Reservations are not required for “General Consultation,” but in the case of a large number of consulters, those with reservations will receive priority over those who did not reserve. To reserve, use Google form or fill in the “Application Form” below and send it in to our center by email, fax, or post, by February 16th (Thursday).
Consultations in Japanese and English will be done directly with the advisor. For other languages, there will be an interpreter who will conduct consecutive interpreting either in person or via the phone.
Short Seminar
The same day, Short Seminar will be held from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.
At the seminar, “What is the difference between a visa and a status of residence?” presented by the officer of the Takamatsu Regional Immigration Bureau and “Introduction of Kocoforre in simple Japanese” presented by the counseling staff of Kocoforre will be held.
- You may attend only the seminar or only the consultation. You can also attend both.
- To make a reservation for the consultation and the seminar, use Google form or fill in the application from, and send it in by email, fax, post, or bring to our office, by February 15, Thursday.
*Please wear a mask during the consultation event.
