Education Guidance 2026 What is the Japanese Education System?
～Creating a Network for Families with Foreign Roots in Kochi～
Following last year’s successful event, Kocoforre will once again host the Education Guidance together with the Kocoforre Supporter Training.
Have you ever wondered:
“I don’t really understand how the Japanese school system works.”
“I’d like to know more about continuing on to high school or university.”
“I don’t have anyone I can talk to about raising children in Japan.”
This event will provide easy-to-understand information about Japan’s education system and educational pathways. It is also a great opportunity to meet other families with foreign roots, as well as supporters, and talk casually about parenting and education.
To help parents participate with peace of mind, we will provide:
Childcare offered by babysitters
Summer vacation homework support by university student volunteers
A kids’ corner with cultural activities such as calligraphy and origami
We look forward to welcoming you and your family!
